Acting on the bartender Michael’s experience, I ordered a “Brutal IPA” .
From the first sip, the taste of this particular IPA stood out above all the other beers so far on this trip.
And for that reason, I dedicate this beer to my dad, Gary Budinger.
In a methophorical way, Gary carries on an unassuming life between the docks of Yaquina Bay.
His modesty is misleading, the man carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. And despite weathering a relentlessly challenging environment beyond his control, he would find a way to help me if ever needed.
Help from him isn’t just help. It’s not just beer. More than effort with this man is execution. Help from Gary Budinger is the best help.
