This post is coming poolside live at a Motel in Bishop, California. PCT Mile 789 is behind me, and a full write up on my first week in the Sierras will be coming up tonight.
For now I’ve posted four video clips from my past week in Sequoia National Park. The first two links are Mt. Whitney (elev. 14,505 feet) approach and descent clips. The third clip is a glissade from the top of Forester Pass (13,153 feet), the divide between Seqouia and Kings Canyon National Park. The fourth clip is a 360 degree panorama at Bighorn Plateau. The camera begins facing west towards Midway Mountain. Then rotating counter clockwise the camera points to the east towards Mt. Whitney, the tallest peak just to the right of the black bag.
