A series of aluminium hinges are oriented to mount the panels rails of unistrut that run across the roof. The unistrut is then secured to the roof with motor mounts.
Wires (#10 AWG) from each panel are then run through the roof into a combiner box inside the van.
While the panels are currently collecting power, the power isn’t going anywhere just yet. Nothing else is wired.
