“If you see ten troubles coming down the road, you can be sure that nine will run into the ditch before they reach you.” — Calvin Coolidge
On Thursday afternoon my old Jeep lost oil pressure on I-90. As loud as it runs, my ear picked up on the knock with just a quart of oil in the engine.
How did I know there was a quart left? I lucked right into a Valvoline oil change spot immediately off the nearest exit. A half mile down the road, sure enough, Ray’s Truck and Auto Repair was still open for business.
For $160, the oil pressure sensor that sprung a leak was fixed and ready for pickup the next day.
As you can see, I don’t like to have the windows on my Jeep. Hours before the almost breakdown of my Wrangler, a spontaneous shower unloaded on me while waiting for a train crossing south of Cleveland. Suited with jacket and tie, I was improperly soaked for the meeting I was scheduled to attened in just 30 minutes.
But sure enough, the clouds parted and I was dry by the time I walked in the front door.
Nine times out of ten.
Originally I purchased 3.5W, 185 lumen LEDs for the living space. After stringing a few together as a test run for the arrangement, the lights proved too weak for the space.
Instead of writing off a $45 dollar loss, the LEDs got put to good use, as six of the ten I purchased nicely illuminate my top/bottom halved closet space.
Nine times out of ten.
Once I receive my next batch of recessed LEDs, I’ll be able to cut holes for the final arrangement of ceiling lights in the living space. I can then wire up, insulate, and paint the ceiling before moving to the floor (which needs to be in place before building the couch-bed and kitchen counter).
A quick 1 minute video of the closet light install is linked below.
Stay tuned for the rest.
