If you’re wondering how to fill a camper water tank you’ll see how easy it is in this video. I’ve converted this Ford Transit myself and created a custom water fill connection inside the van to improve my chances of remaining stealth while parked on the street.
I live in the van full time on a mission to give 1 random act of kindness in all 50 states and I need to fill up the water tank on a regular basis. The 34 gallon tank can last me about 2 weeks between fill ups. The biggest water use for me is the shower, which uses ~1.5 gallons per minute.
Here’s the flexible garden hose I use to fill the tank: Silver Bullet Flexible Hose
Adding these valves to each end of the hose makes it easy to fill up without spraying water everywhere: https://amzn.to/3bwk5t3
Here’s the 32-gallon water tank I use. It fits perfectly over the wheel well: Ford Transit Camper Water Tank
