In this quick video post I cover the biggest dealer incentives for each brand in May 2020. This information is useful to new car buyers and new truck buyers because you’ll be able to see which models and trims manufacturers want to get rid of most.
As a quick refresher on dealer incentives for new car buyers: Manufacturer’s essentially subsidize the discount a dealer gives for a particular make, model, and trim at any given point in time.
So if a car dealer receives a $3,000 dealer incentive and gives a $3,000 discount to a new car buyer, the buyer effectively received $3,000 off, but the dealer effectively sold the car for full sticker price.
